Plans & Projects
With things starting to take shape here at The Maker’s Press, we are excited to be working on various projects and publications. There are several new editions in the pipeline for this year, including songs, organ works, piano pieces, and orchestral scores. In the coming months, we are excited to be bringing out the score of Gurney’s War Elegy for orchestra later in the spring (in time we will be publishing all three of his extant orchestral works); and volume two of the Gurney Trust Song Edition should arrive in the summer all being well — all of his previously unpublished songs composed in 1918. There will also be new scores of works by Hubert Parry and Denis Browne; and we are also in discussions to bring the work of other contemporary composers to print. Time will tell how all this develops, but watch this space — and do please consider subscribing to our mailing list to hear news of how these and other publications take shape.
